Kat LeFay is a professional writer of 7 years who has published several works, including the popular children's picture book, The Little Hawk Finds Courage and The BIG Little Skunk, which are part of an engaging animal series for kids, that promises to take young readers on an adventure filled with excitement, laughter, and fun. Kat is also working on Little Lion, which is slated for release soon.

In addition to her animal series, Kat has also created a good night series that features unicorns, monsters, and zombies. These stories will delight and entertain young readers by answering the question of how these mythical creatures prepare for bed.

Kat resides with her children and two furry friends in a secret laboratory beneath the enchanting Blue Ridge Mountains. The location of her abode remains a mystery, even to her. However, the unground glowing lichen has led her to believe that her base could be situated near the Pisgah National Forest.

Kat has a passion for writing, movies, hiking, waterfalls, enjoying good food, and spending time with her children. She particularly enjoys engaging in science experiments with friends, especially those that involve some level of mess or explosion. When she's not engrossed in her writing or experiments, Kat can be found playing hide-and-seek in the dark, relaxing by a nearby creek, or occasionally working at an art gallery near her home.
